Product Description:

Get ready every 'Futurama' and Matt Groening fan, here comes Futurama-O-Rama, the very FIRST comic compilation based on the Emmy-nominated television show 'Futurama.'It's a long way from making a pizza delivery on New Year's Eve to the bustling cityscape of New York in the 31st century, but for Phillip J. Fry it only took one little cryogenically frozen nap. Awakening in a future imagined by 'The Simpsons' creator Matt Groening, Fry finds a job at an interplanetary messenger service and falls in with Leela, a sexy one-eyed space orphan, and Bender, an alcoholic misanthropic robot programmed to bend things. Blast off with this all-new Futurama comics collection, and leap feet very first into a fun-filled future!

Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - I love it
If you have enver read any of the Bongo comics series', you are in for a treat. Both "The Simpsons" and "Futurama" give us well drawn and written comics for almost anyone in the family.

Reading a Futurama comic is much like watching and episode. The characters act and talk the same as they do in the show. Mind you, most of the issues are not as hilarious as the great episodes, but are about on par with a decent episode. Also, if you are a Futurama fan, there are a lot of times hidden jokes just for the religious fans of the series and you get the chance to learn and see more about their universe.

More aliens, more jokes, and more of the characters that you cannot get enough of.

I recommend at least giving them a shot and this particular trade is a collection of issues, so you will get a good serving to check out.

Rated by buyers 2 out of 5 stars - Futurama face without the personality
The only way this comic would be tolerable is if you enjoyed the show and can actually visualize the action according to the physics, action, and fun of the original cartoon. Even Futurama fans may find this comic a tough pill to swallow for their Futurama fix.

Though the art is solid and familiar, the writing and stories are ridiculously sub-par. i would much rather watch the worst Futurama episodes over again than read any of the comics in this trade paperback.

The writers occasionally endeavor to interject some of the ongoing gags to make it feel like Futurama. Like everyone's disdain for Zoidberg. Common exclamatory phrases (Sweet Zombie Jesus!) and the like. But take all those out, and you just have stories that made me realize that they CAN make bad Futurama stories.

Rated by buyers 3 out of 5 stars - kinda boring
i was dissapointed in this book. the jokes arent funny, and the story drags on.the drawings and colour are great. buy it if you are a fan. otherwise.. no

Rated by buyers 3 out of 5 stars - For futurama fans and people like me.
This is a collection of a few futurama comics. If you miss the
best TV show about life the year 3001 ever made, you should
buy it. But that most probably also means that you are a nerd.
===== FUTURAMA, AS-SEEN-ON-TV ====

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - FUTURAMA LIVES!!!
Futurama-O-Rama includes the very first four comic books that have come out: a) Monkey Sea, Monkey Doom, b) ... But Deliver Us to Evil, c) The Owner of Mars Attacks, and d) Doop the Right Thing. Since the cancellation of the show (@#$$%%@@&^*!...), it's been pretty hard without Fry and the gang, but Futurama still lives on through these comics. Overall, it's a GREAT book; the stories and the dialogues are EXCELLENT, as for the witty humour and the characters... they are all there!
In short, it's a keeper!

PS BRING BACK THE SHOW!!!
