this book is a very good source for your step 1 prep...the title says it all, high yield!! but unfortunately, you do need to supplement it with other ana book because this book only covers some of the most common in ana...

Great when you are cramming for step one and need to rememer all those things you have forgotten. I would not suggest only using this for anatomy during your very first two years of Med School because it is probably not detailed enough as a sole source.

Had this "review" book and "USMLE" prep book as predominant resource for PA school. Could not understand text as it was over my (and most if not all of my classmates) head. I guess it would be acceptable for the target audience, but very first semester PA students are not the target audience by any stretch. Should not seem to be a coincidence that the instructor that required the book was one of the authors. I would presume this to be a financial conflict of interest.. oh well.

this is a nice little book to just skim through if you have when studying for step 1.it has nice tables and easy to read format that makes stuff stick. skim through it if you have time, if you think you want have time or you find yourself running out of time, then read very first aid as an alternative. Even if you decide to read this book, u shouldnt read it alone supplement it with very first aid.i supplemented this book with very first aid and i made 229/95 on my step 1.
