After umpteen years of tennis lessons, sweaty practices, swing adjustments, scuffed knees, coaching changes, tennis camps, racquet changes, mind adjustments, grip adjustments (on and on), you think you're ready to call out and dispatch Agassi, Edberg, Vaccario, Kournikova, Williams, Hingis, Pierce, Sampras and other tennis heavyweights, right? Right? Nah, of course not. Cause your game sucks. Big time! (Now, now. Lower that racquet). Listen up: I come not to berate, but to help you. Dig it. Till scant weeks ago, my tennis tale was one of frustrated ambition--and a sorry reality--every bit as screwed-up and skunky as yours. However, I got lucky. And, dig this, I'm gonna share it with you. Uh huh. You lucky devil! Check it out: Five weeks ago, on a local court, where my game commanded a fair amount of respect, I suffered a singular and brutal drubbing at the hands of a callow youth who showed nary a whit of respect for my sage and vaunted technique. Gad! It was bloody! Afterwards, on the bench, while I wheezed and moped from embarrassment and exertion, he sauntered over, tapped me on the shoulder, grinned and plopped down. He'd come to rub it in, I reasoned. But no, during the subsequent thirty-forty minutes, I listened and learned much. Youth and "natural talents" aside, he ascribed his exceptional skills to a tattered and dog-eared tome which he thrust towards me. Intrigued, I leafed through the well-worn pages. The subsequent day I acquired a copy and began to incorporate its clear and straight-on message into my game. In less than two weeks, with my new arsenal of skills, I thrashed the kid. Wow! I am reborn! And now, just five weeks after my original embarrassment, I am in pursuit of the aforementioned tennis heavyweights, cause...I...am...READY!!! Dear reader, this is the bottom line: If you want to imbue your game with those lethal tools (the skills and strategies) which will enable you to call out and vanquish all tennis heavyweights (the genuine and the pretenders) then you must rush out and get this book--NOW, NOW, NOW!!!
