The book is very informative, full of information. If you are thinking about surgery it will start at the very beginning. It will talk about eating as well.

I received this book 3 days before lapband surgery. Very accurate information and lots of patient stories. They give a realistic stories about life with the band. They also give a list of doctors round the country.

This book was very informative and an accurate description of what will happen before and after surgery. It gave excellent advice on dealing with the insurance company, what to expect before and after surgery and the changes you will have to make in order for the band to work. If you only purchase one book on Lap-Band Surgery, this should be the one!
