Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - 6th Grade Book Review

The genre of The Boy Who Saved Baseball is realistic fiction. The theme of the book is that Cruz tries to persuade Dante Del Gato to coach the team. Also they want to know what the secret is of hitting because Dante Del Gato went 19 for 19 right before he left. The setting is mostly at Lucky Strike feild, but it is in Dillion Town. The conflict of the book is that the kids ask Delgado to coach them and Delgato said he can't. This book is a thrilling book because you want to know what is going to happen next. What I liked about the book is that Delgato chooses to help the team so they could win their big game. I liked this becuase before the team had no chace of winnind that game, buut now thwey have hope. What I disliked about this book is when Delgato disagreed to help the team. I disliked this becuase without him they were going to lose badly. That means he is selfish. Also, I liked it when they finally learned the secret of hitting. I liked this because all they ever wanted to know was the secret of hitting. Now they finally know what the secret of hitting is. I disliked when Doc died in the bleachersduring the game. I disliked this because Doc always supported the team and now they have lost a very important person in their life. This is what I liked and disliked about the book The Boy Who Saved Baseball. One of the best things that happened that I liked the most was the ending. Sorry I can't tell you.
