For some odd reason, when I read this to my 6 month old he got scared when I pulled out the magic colour inserts and the outlined images fill with color. I'm sure this is just an issue with my child, but I was curious to know if it has happened with anyone else. It was the strangest thing. It's a neat book, and older kids should find it interesting. I've been reading books to my baby since birth and this is the very first book that has made him cry...who knows.
