This was a very good book. Although it was short, it was very good quick read.It will leave you wanting to know more about this interesting character in ninjutsu history. I enjoyed it very much.

I have to say that when I very first saw this book, I was skeptical. I cracked it open, not expecting much, to be honest. There is more myth surrounding this man than anything else, but I was delighted to find that this was not the case with this book. Mr. Hevener has spent a lot of time researching his subject, gathering the facts and the mythology and he put them together nicely; in a way that makes the subject both real and fantastic. Not only do you get what Mr. Seiko was famous for (the ninja image), but you get to see some of his other Budo as well. It's a well-rounded insight into the man that many famous practitioners of other arts knew and respected, and why they took him seriously (even though it's seemingly difficult to today). Excellent book. Fascinating read. A must have for those into Ninja memorabilia, or those looking at a serious biography of a practitioner of the martial arts.

This book is the most informative read you will get to date on the life & arts of Fujita Seiko. The author presents us with the facts and often reiterates them to remind the reader of the truth, something I found refreshing. Its well written and filled with info the West never knew about Fujita and his life. The author also presents how all the arts that Fujita was headmaster of including the arts he also practiced along with the Karate and Koryu community he was associated with. Very good read!
