The second part of the comic-adaption of the Dragonlance Chronicles continues with the same high quality the very first part did.
The whole graphic novel is drawn by Kurth, who is a very talented artist. The characters appear very realistic and are not extensively beautiful or handsome. This book does not appear comic-like or childish at all.
The pages do not have any frames, the pictures take up the whole page. Very nice to the eye.
As with the very first part a further compliment goes to Dabb (adaption of the story). Though the story had to be shortened, everything is there. This makes this comic as well suitable for people who do not know the novel.
Furthermore the comic is quite thick, so there is entertainment for quite some time.
Let's hope the good standarts are held up with the third part.

I bought this book because the Dragonlance Chronicles were the very first fantasy books I read. I was quite young then so i loved them. so, now that the comic book is out, i thought "why not?". when i received it, my very first thoughts were this could be quite an interesting experience. and it was. the artwork is very good quality, the story of course and the binding of the book is good (i am sort of a "keep your books in good condition freak"). i did find a problem though. in my opinion, the depiction of Raistlin and a couple of others isn't as good as i hoped. now dont get me wrong, its great but its not the way i thought of him. Raistlin is my favorite character in the books so that sort of disappointed me a bit. anyways, that told, i believe it is a must for any dragonlance fan and i recommend it.

This graphic novel is beautifully done. The artists paint in pictures what Weis and Hickman did with words all those years ago. Devil's Due deserves a lot of credit for getting quality artists who have stayed true to the story of Dragonlance. I'm really getting stoked for the very first movie, out in September.
