This book is basically a propaganda piece for the "Good Leaders Good Shepherds" program which aims to teach various leadership and managerial techniques to Catholic Priests. It's a clunky read and basically just a short story about an inexperienced priest who is made a pastor and is uncertain about his ability to be a leader. A layman who is a kind of mentor to him introduces him to the program which will teach him all sorts of "leadership" traits and techniques that he did not and could not gain through the seminary or practical experience in a parish.
I am not writing to review the "Good Leaders Good Shepherds" program, just the book. And as far as the book goes, it is not particularly worth purchasing unless you are required. And if required, buy a used copy.
