I have to say how it ended I would love to see a part 2 to this. Book was good. I love all of Nikki Turner books but, this book don't beat most of her others.
Isis was mainly cursed as she said, everything bad just keep happening to her. Her dad was killed by her mom, her mom was in prison for killing her dad. She watches the love of her life die by the state. Her new boyfriend beat her baby out of her. Her sister ends up in jail. A man she went to for help kills her husband. She just felt she was cursed in so many ways. I am hoping there is a revenge sequel soon. Great book.

Nikki Turner continues her triumph of being the grand mistress of urban lit with this enticing page turner. Here we meet Isis who has nothing but heartache in her life but turns it into success. Nikki Turner fans will notice cameo and guest apperances from characters in other series. Of course Unique seems to pop up in every book. I think she's done enough guest apperances to have her own book in the near future. I hope that we can get Bambi & Isis together on a big pay back scheme to get rid of Loochee. The man we love to hate. 4 1/2 stars. Would have been 5 but it took to long to come out & I'm sure the sequal will take forever as well.

I MUST SAY THAT IT TOOK ME NO TIME TO JUMP INTO THE BOOK. BY DAY TWO I WAS ON THE LAST CHAPTER. I WAS HOWEVER VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE WAY THAT THE BOOK ENDED. COULD THERE BE A SEQUEL, VERY WELL. BASED UPON THE WAY THAT IT ENDED, I DOUBT IF I WILL READ IT. I AM HOWEVER WILLING TO TRY ANOTHER BOOK BY N. TURNER.

Even though this book was no I-95 or Glamorous Life, i actually enjoyed this read. I got my copy from the library, since everyone told me that it was not a good read. Im glad i decided to see for myself because im waiting on a part two to this book, or the sequel to Forever a Hustlers wife so she can bring Isis back in the picture with Unique and Bambi.
But i think Lootchee is a character thats gonns be around for quite some time, popping in and out of Nikki's book.
