Product Description:
Freddy Thresher has a problem: a really, really, big problem. He never has anything cool to bring for show-and-tell. This week, his best friend, Robbie, has brought the most amazing artifact to share: a real alligator head. How will Freddy come up with anything as cool as that? Good news! Later that day, he finds something very unusual and exciting. If only he can get it to school without his mom, 'The Neat Freak,' finding out, Freddy will be the King of Show-and-Tell!

My son loves these books! They make him laugh. I have purchased all of the Ready Freddy Books published so far and will continue to do so. He is 8 years old and they seem like the reading level is made for children his age.

We love the Ready, Freddy books. I began reading the series to my son when he was 5. He's 6 now and can read a good portion of them independently. In King of Show and Tell, Freddy, as usual, gets himself into a few tight spots but manages to weasel his way out as only Freddy can. The illustrations (at least one per chapter)all have a hidden word to hunt for. My son (and I) wanted to read the whole book in one sitting!

Boys doing boy things! Compared to the number of 'girl orientated books,' there are few geared towards boys in the lower grade levels which really relate to them. I was thrilled when I saw this book and my son has enjoyed it so much that we are going to get the whole series! He laughs and really relates to the characters - and actually looks forward to being able to read them himself! For anyone wondering, when I say lower grades - I am speaking of 1st,2nd and 3rd. The reading is great, educational and full of those everyday boy things!
