Modern Bridge Conventions
I was delighted with this purchase. A very fair price, very quick delivery, and the product, though supposedly used, was in mint condition.

This is the standard reference book for bridge conventions. It has been around for years. It is excellent. There is no competition.

A group of 9 women chose this book to study current and popular bridge conventions. We have found that it is thorough and easy to understand. While we are studying each convention, we are doing as Root says, to take the ones that we wish to incorporate into our own bridge play and reject those that we do not wish to use. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to clarify the many bridge conventions that are being used today. Even if you don't use a convention yourself it is certainly wise to know about it when you are in competition with others.
