Brian's Song
The book I read was Brian's Song it is about a man named Brian Piccilo and Gayle Sayers, and they both play for the Bears. Gayle is a new player on the team and Brian has been they're. When Gayle gets to camp Brian shows him around and everything. The only problem is that they both play running back so that means one will be ahead of the other, and it is Gayle he is the starter.
Gayle and Brian get to be very close friends almost like brothers they do everything with each other. Then Gayle is in a game where they are beating the other team very badly and he breaks his leg when he should have been on the sidelines. So that means Brian is the starter now. After Gayle gets back from his injury they start to split time, but Gayle even says himself he would have never made it back without Brian.
Then the coach recognizes something wrong with Brian so he tells Brian to take a break from the team for a while. So then Brian goes to the Doctor and he is diagnosed with Brain Cancer. They have a surgery and get rid of the tumor, but it comes back and everyone is so depressed that it came back after he lost it. That subsequent week Brian stays in the hospital and....................
I liked this book a lot because I like sports and football. I think that it is a sad story especially for Gayle because he has lost his best friend.

One grey and the other white. One is from one part of the country the other from another part. One is shy the other one is outgoing. Those are some major characteristics about the 2 main characters in the book Brian's song. As u can see their total opposites but they managed a way to be best friends. This story is not allot about football as much as it is and the two characters stories. Unfortunately Brian is diagnosed with leukemia and is hospitalized till he gets better. Showing their great friendship gale was with Brian every second he possibly could and was always subsequent to his hospital bed. Well that's my review read the book to find out more.

Briand song was a great movie and the book totally matches up to it but its a little bit diffrent.The story is great and it targets most readers somehow. The book is about the great freindship between gale sayers and brian picallow. The book is ritten as if u were watching the movie some of the comments are sometimes switch camera or return offstage. Over all this book is good and i suggest u read it

I think that overall the book was pretty good. I would only reccomend it to people who like football. The book is all about football. I would definitly reccomend it. It was very good!
