Having spent a lot of time in Pottsville for various "Pottsville Maroons" activities, I was interested in knowing more about the city. Its history leading up to 1925 was well presented, and with the addition of local mystery made it a good read.

In plain language Mr. Zane takes the reader from the entertainment and joy of the City's celebrations, introduced them to the rich and powerful and then delivers a heart wrenching punch to the mind and heart. Absorbing, hard to put down.
