I have three of Amy Dixon's workouts and I love them all. This one is composed of 5 segments. There is a 7-minute warm-up, a 24-minute cardio segment followed by a short cool-down, a 23-minute strength-training segment followed by a short cool-down, and a 13-minute core and more segment. There is also a 10-minute yoga athletic stretch bonus segment. The only equipment you need for this workout is weights, a mat, and a towel.
I borrowed the "Perfect Body Workout" from the library before I decided to buy it. I really enjoy Amy's persona and have confidence in her instructions since she used to be a gymnast.
This workout can be done in the time you have allotted for exercising on a particular day by mixing and matching segments or just doing one by itself! I usually feel as if I have really worked my body, particularly my legs, after I complete one of Amy's entire workouts.

I purchased this video to workout at home with. I love it. So many work out DVD's are so hard to follow and you really do not feel like you have worked out due to having to stop and start over and over again. with this DVD it is easy to follow and you definitely feel it all over. My buttocks and thighs are feeling sore already and this morning was my very first time using it. Easy to follow and a great workout for all your body. All you need is a set of dumbells and you are ready to go!!! I recommend this to everyone who wants a great workout and can feel it!!!

I buy every Amy Dixon video I can fine. I love working out to videos at home (I do it 6 days a week) so I like variety. I use other tapes occasionally but I always prefer Amy's. This is a tough exercise routine and you really know you've worked out - but that's a good thing! She is a great trainer - she does every step with you, she's encouraging without being over the top sappy, and she works you hard. I recommend this tape for someone who really wants a work out, not just a waste of time. Linda

I viewed this exercise DVD as soon as I received it. The menu is in segments which makes it easy to pick and choose which exercise routine you want to do at that time, i.e. cardio, strength, core.
