This is a great book for the beginner looking for a specific strategy. This book could be applied right away. it totally makes sense. It is simple. I highly recommend it. It was a fun light read too.

I love the layout of this book.
Each page is outlined and looks like an actual
tennis court! Helle keeps it simple. I learned
a lot more how I can recover quicker and grow
stronger long-term in tennis and in life. I really
appreciate watching doubles more too.

Like life, tennis is always teaching you something. This book really accelerates the learning curve.
It takes a different approach than is usually taken, teaching a SYSTEM (of anticipation, movement, co-operation - not strokes), that, if followed, will make you a better (and less frustrated) doubles player. Although you can apply it's precepts and see your doubles play ratchet up a notch on day #1, it does take some time and persistence (and a partner playing the same SYSTEM) to really crank up your results. Corollary: Buy your partner a copy and, if you play on a team, get them all on the SYSTEM.
After reading Dynamite Doubles, you will know: Where to be (positioning); What to cover (court coverage responsibility..whose ball is it, anyway?); and, Where to hit (shot selection and placement). It will get you thinking outside the lines (the tennis equivalent of "outside the box"). You will play better, win more and enjoy yourself thoroughly...or, as Helle says: Ready? Then, read and react (to this book).
Delightfully, Dynamite Doubles is well written, often humorous, and just a "good read." A lot of care was taken to develop clear, easy on the eyes, layouts and fonts, and excellent very helpful illustrations. It is also well edited.
There are other tennis books, even books about doubles. This one is unequivically the best I've read. You will go back to it time and again.
Your doubles WILL be dynamite; you will ejoy your time on the court more, AND you will win more.
